Aviation needs new young participants to keep aviation strong for the next generation and beyond. EAA Chapter 1177 needs young members to sustain the Chapter for the next generation. The members of EAA Chapter 1177 support youth aviation and offer a scholarship to encourage deserving students to continue their flight training and/or academic studies in an aviation-related field to completion and continue their participation in the EAA and its activities
EAA Chapter 1177 is a non-profit aviation organization with a long and rich history. One of the chapter’s general missions is to educate the public about aviation while supporting educational aviation activities in general and youth aviation specifically. The Chapter will offer a scholarship to a worthy and enthusiastic student from one of the following SE Wisconsin counties to help support their specific aviation interest: Jefferson, Milwaukee, Waukesha, Dodge, Washington, Ozaukee, Walworth, Racine and Kenosha
